Mauricio is a litigator in the firm’s Miami office where he represents clients in complex commercial litigation, catastrophic personal injury, and wrongful death matters.  Before joining the firm, Mauricio gained valuable experience at an immigration law firm, where he helped clients secure visas and legal permanent residency in the United States.

Born and raised in Miami to Cuban and Salvadoran parents, Mauricio appreciates the richness and diversity of his clients’ backgrounds. This understanding drives his commitment to advocating for each client’s unique needs and circumstances.  Fluent in both English and Spanish, Mauricio takes pride guiding international clients through the complexities of the legal process with care and clarity.

Mauricio holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida International University and earned his Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University College of Law, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, he received the CALI Excellence Award in Negotiations and served as Vice President of Membership on the St. Thomas Moot Court Board. His team achieved second place in a national competition, showcasing his dedication and skill in oral advocacy.

When not practicing law, Mauricio enjoys golfing, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.
